As part of our growth initiative, we are recruiting a Network Engineer. This person will be working with a mature team with a broad skill set, to ensure the management and the running of our network's solutions (including their evolution and optimizations). Analyzing and auditing Networks Solutions and Architecture.
Ensuring the implementation of the chosen network configuration
Maintaining and optimizing networks by monitoring and managing their performance.
Ensuring and documenting a network technologies watch
Design and manage the deployment of new and existing customers’ Networks.
Perform Network equipment deployment and configuration.
Implementation and application of security protocols
Validate technical solutions in coordination with oXya’s French and American teams.
Maintenance and evolution of oXya networks in North America (mainly USA) to ensure operational effectiveness.
Utilize knowledge of operating systems (Linux and Microsoft Windows)
Vast knowledge and experience of VMware products on large scale
Computer blade systems to support our various teams and customers.
Knowledge of automation toolsets such as Ansible is a plus.
Devices and telco networks expertise required (Switch, networks routers, firewalls) as well as the server systems, operating systems and the software.
Provide input and collaborate on the design of continuous improvements of oXya and its customers networks.
Bachelor’s degree in network administration, computer science, software engineering, MIS, or a related technical field; Relevant hands-on experience in network engineering, including design, implementation, and optimization.
In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP networking, including architecture design, integration, and performance monitoring.
Proficient in configuring and managing network infrastructure components such as routers, firewalls, VPNs, and servers.
VMware).
Strong experience with operating systems (Linux and Windows).
Familiarity with network security protocols and implementation practices.
Hands-on experience with Fortinet FortiGate firewalls
This position requires light travel (5% -) as part of operations to Datacenter locations.
